“Battle of the Babes”
“This is what happens when musicals and horror films collide. “Battle of the Babes” is a collection of twisted, whimsical vignettes. An estranged collaboration of the absurd, glamour, the monster under your bed and your mothers make-up box; my photographs are meant to provide an escape from the mundane. Each vignette serves as a glimpse into a seductive and playful world that lies somewhere between your day dreams and your nightmares. They serve no purpose other than to delight, amuse and maybe frighten just a little bit.
“My work has a tendency to reflect an array of my personal interests. Incorporating influences from film, theatre, burlesque, fetish, costume design and my own imagination, I enjoy devising vignettes in which my models act out rather ridiculous scenarios. This is dress-up for adults, with some adult themes thrown in for good measure.
“I am currently working on developing and expanding my portfolio. In the present and in the near future I am teaming up with Absolute Blackout, a fine art clothing company on the verge of completion, not only as a featured artist, but as their product photographer as well.
