The Mesilla Digital Imaging Workshops were established on the principle of providing a professional, nurturing environment for creative photography. Contemporary photographers learn new skills and create dynamic images while exploring their visual passions.

Located in beautiful southern New Mexico, the Mesilla Digital Imaging Workshops is a select learning site for Canon USA. Strong support also comes from our educational partners: Adobe, Alienskin Software, DXO, Datacolor, Ilford Photo Harman Technology Ltd, Imagenomic, Lensbaby, Lexar, Lowepro, Moab by Legion Paper, photo technique, Tiffen, Unified Color and Wacom.

Our state-of-the art digital Mac lab includes 27” Quad Core iMacs, 24” large format Canon printers, scanners and a well-equipped studio in a comfortable, user-friendly environment. The 560 sq. ft. photo studio space includes backdrops, lighting equipment, props and macro and copywork stations. A number of professional Canon L lenses, camera bodies, and strobes are available for workshop participants’ use. An adjacent conference room is also available for critiques and presentations.

Our experienced professional faculty features industry leaders from across the nation, including photographic educators, writers, and widely published and exhibited photographers in every aspect of the medium.
