LEGION PAPER CONVERTS MOAB OFFICES TO WIND-POWER

Presented with a recognition award by Rocky Mountain Power Company

MOAB, UT (November 8, 2007)- Legion Paper, the nation’s premier paper company dedicated to the art of the fine print, announces that Legion Paper has been recognized for its Champion-level participation in Rocky Mountain Power's Blue Sky™ program by converting its Moab offices to 100% renewable wind power. The impact of this decision is equivalent to not driving a car for over 43,700 miles, or reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 20.4 tons.

"Living and working in Moab we are fortunate to be a part of one of the most dynamic and beautiful landscapes on earth. As active participants in our environment we are continually looking for ways to lessen our overall impact,” said Gregory Schern, Director of Digital Imaging at Legion Paper.  “For years we have recycled our paper and cardboard waste and now we can use renewable wind to power our operations. By each doing a little, we can accomplish great things together."

The city of Moab was recognized last year by the EPA as the nation's first wind-powered city for its commitment to wind power. The success of Rocky Mountain Power's program is due to the participation of individual customers and business leaders choosing renewable energy as a way to improve our quality of life and preserve natural resources for future generations. Legion Paper is proud to be a Blue Sky member. For more information and participation, visit www.utahpower.net.
